The nearest supermarket is just a 5-minute drive from our villa, and in the village of Villalonga, you will find everything you need, including good restaurants and cozy bars. Additionally, there are markets twice a week and a health center, pharmacy, and many other shops.
A new public swimming pool has recently been built in the area, which is a great option to cool off and enjoy the Spanish sun. Beautiful white beaches, such as Belreguard, Daimus, and Gandia-Grau, are 16 km away. The latter also has a beautiful promenade that is definitely worth a visit.

Shopping and dining out in Gandia city
Gandia is a city located 12 km away, with a rich history, museums, and many large shopping centers. The old town is very cozy with many shops and bars, and resembles Valencia but is much cheaper and less touristy. You can park for free everywhere, except in the 4 parking garages where the cost is €5 per day. By train, you can reach the center of Valencia in an hour, where there are also many sights to see.
Beach
Gandía is located on the Costa de Valencia and is especially known as a typical Spanish seaside resort with vast sandy beaches, excellent facilities, and lots of activity in the summer. The delicious fideuà dish, which is similar to paella but contains pasta instead of rice, also originated here. The town itself, a few kilometers from the beach, also offers vacationers the opportunity to shop, eat or enjoy historical sights in a southern atmosphere.
Public facilities
There are several ways to enjoy the beautiful landscapes and charming corners while being active. A popular option is mountain biking, which combines sports, nature, and adventure. Vilallonga has a municipal swimming pool with excellent facilities where you can relax in the water and enjoy the sun during the summer.
